Make sure you get "show" pots and pans. You may need multiple sets if they get worn.

Some thoughts:
- easy, interesting twists on favorites or simple foods
- foods that seem hard, but really aren't with a bit of skill and practice

- Someone mentioned about not using inaccessible things or impractical ingredients. But you know people at best have the four basic seasonings and a can opener. Introduce people to some new things (spices, tools) that are baby steps. Maybe not $9 saffron, or a $90 immersion blender, but small things.

I need this

This is super simple

  • 1 bag of onions or use 3 large onions and slice.
  • Sweat in a pan on medium heat with butter salt and thyme stirring occasionally to prevent burning for about 35ish minutes untill the onions have started to change colour and go brown or they have sweated enough to become limp.
  • Then add about 5 table spoons of sugar to taste and 2 table spoons of vinegar.
  • Let reduce it will start to get sticky like below but keep stirring it so it doesnt stick and burn for another 10 mins or so then your done.

This process takes about and hour, but you can use these onions on salad, in sandwiches as a dip,on top of steak or a bomb ass grilled cheese, on pizza etc etc. These onions will last in the fridge a couple of weeks.

To Assemble the crostinis you just need to slice some bread; any bread is fine. Put your caremlised onions on top and top with feta or goats cheese. Put under the grill till the cheese has browned. Then EAT

These are good tips. I like remixing stuff and also doing things that may seem complicated but are really easy. So this may be right up my street.

Ok I see you:whoo:
I started something like this but making basic shyt gets boring and cooking different cultural cuisines is time and money lol
But you should definitely start a YouTube channel

I try to do a mix of everything, but once you know the basics its not far to go. I accidentally made souffles last week because I had already done half the work and had a cheese sauce sitting in the fridge from when I made queso two days before.

I went from Mexico to France by adding a few eggs and a 1/4 cup of flour.

This is why I want to start a demo page because u can do so much with the bare basics of what you have and eat good food if you know what you're doing.

On instagram soon. What tips do you think I should start with; is there anything in particular that you/ people would prefer to see? Im planning on doing an appetiser platter to start with but everything I cook will teach basic cooking skills and then how to utilise it in a dish. I dont necessarily want to just cook what I wanna cook because not everybody may be interested and some skills may be a little too advanced for some.

I'll post some pics of things I've done and various benefits. ETA insta Doms_nomnoms
