Im ready to cut cable, but there's just ONE big problem i need to solve.

looks like im going to have to mess with amazon prime. My son gotta have his shows.....i see it has a lot of the stuff he likes.

So i have

What channel do these shows come on?

Find a friend with comcast, get their email and password and use the tv go app..theres gotta be a way to go from ipad to tv.

we dont have comcast service at all in my city...just charter/uverse/dish network/ and direct tv...thanks though.

Or just tell the kid here's your selection pick from this and whatever Netflix, Hulu or whoever has is all the kid gets. Part of cutting cost is giving things up to save money.

I've been avoiding these type of comments. But I guess I have to be clear. My son is 4 years old with autism..he doesn't know how to talk yet. I limit his TV watching in general but when he does watch it I like to let him watch what makes him happy..he can't vocally tell me yet and there a lot he doesn't understand coming from me vocally. I can't sit him down and talk to him like "hey this is what we have you gotta choose"...it's no that simple. It's a lot to explain but just know that this isn't a normal son/dad relationship when it comes to a lot of things.

Download a app called live media player. Open it click live then search for nick Jr. Problem solved. They have every channel. What you know about hooking up a tablet via HDMI to the tube. Its pretty much streaming cable.

between hulu and netflix... they got all that and more... they are kids.. they'll forget all about those shows after seeing the selection they have for new stuff.. just turn it on and feast

if that doesn't work, there's always youtube.. they have full episodes of damn near everything on there

if that doesn't work, buy a few cheap dvds off amazon or ebay.. mix those in with the ones they never saw and they should be good

if that doesn't work... tell those lazy kids to get a job cause cable is expensive

Thanks breh. Yea it was hard to accept at first but the way I look at it..God gave me him because he knows I have patience and willing to teach him and help him go on with life...I realize a lot of people probably couldn't handle my situation so I'm just glad it's me and not somebody else that wouldn't put in the effort.

All in all..his form of autism isn't the worst of seen..some done like any type of affection or to even be touched. My son hugs/laughs/smiles/grabs my hand to shoe me what he wants..does most of the physical things a child can do..his main problems are attention span and speaking.

Not to make this thread about that though...I appreciate the suggestions I'll go with amazon and everything else I already have.

why does it have so many awful reviews on amazon? People are saying its useless and freezes up....do you have these problems?
