I’m ready to say MAC MILLER “k.i.d.s” mixtape is the best project from someone younger than 21

Sound sound sound
the fact you mention finesse.
like he just some nobody and big up mac miller is telling.
plus you don't know hiphop history.
nor timelines from the content in your post.
your ignorance culturally is appalling.

you need to go ramp on that which you lack.

if you wondering why you not capable of drawing like you would like.

I mentioned finesse because that’s where u were going with the “he doesn’t show love to the culture” bullshyt :mjlol:

as I said in the original post he was a student of the game...he literally studied hip hop and music in general ..it’s obvious..and from the sound of that specific mixtape ..where it’s young music shyt, mixed with “Nike’s on my feet” shows exactly that

And he did it GREAT

I know he was a suburban white kid who didn’t grow up with the treacherous 3 and grandmaster caz..I don’t care :mjlol: ...when he got on , he showed love to people..and got a lot of those same responses back which is why he had so many random collaborations

the next 2 or 3 projects were hit or miss

and yea I know nas recorded illmatic when he was 16 or 17..and sat on it til he was like 20..I know all that.. you were there plugging in the mic..I get it breh

But even nas showed love ...why can’t you?

Never really listened to Mac Miller because he felt like the suburban version of Wiz Khalifa

maybe I should give it a spin. But the statement about best project under 21yo is ludicrous

this, plus more.
it is not even just nas who was under twenty.
that is why i am lol at the toys trying to fake jax like they are in the know in this thread.

the shyt hilarious.

yet you get all this negative vitriol like one they gon leave the house and do better from a real cultural and skill grassroots level. Then, when you like you need to go back to the crate. When nobody in the culture should ever tell you to go back to the crate.

they like,...nah.

yet they think they are going to create a sound dialogue culturally and not know anything culturally to begin with.

just the lack of golden age knowledge on age and timelines in the rap business and emcee pillar not being generally known for starters.
by the thread starter and others toys I quoted in this thread is telling.
you can not even post on a white emcee and diss me.
as white emcees getting a license culturally comes directly.
from my family tree and pedigree culturally and in the business period.

It's a low quality "I like this artist so Imma call him the best" tweet characters length spam type of thread. There are plenty of dope projects made by dudes under 21. Rakim was like 19 in Paid in Full. LL did multiple albums before he turned 21. Eric Sermon was 20 in Strictly Business. And it goes on and on. I mean shyt Cube was still 20 when he left NWA and did Amerikka's most wanted.

I’ll accept this answer if you post a video of you riding around listening to “I missed the bus” today as a grown man

Breh

I was up (was up) but I laid back down
Thinking I could chill till the time came around
And I did (I did) but a little too long
Cause when I got up, yo the bus was gone...

I still know the whole song. If that shyt come on now I’m turning it up lol

When he first started out he was signed to Rostrum records and Wiz was his label mate. A the time he was making, basically stoner music, pretty much on that Wiz, Curren$y vibe, check out his mixtape High Life

But he kept growing and evolving as an artist. His steam took a dip with Blue Slide Park to me cause that release was very commercial but from Macadelic onwards it's insane. When he moved to LA and started collaborating with OF, Vince Staples and and started making his own beats his whole sound did a 180. WMWTSO is a classic to me. His side project called Delusional Thomas is classic to me as well.
