I have been working at my community and donating money to it for 3 years now. Me, my best friend and his wife applied for grants to re -open a closed pre school but it was denied. Donations wasnt enough which is why we plan on going the youtube podcast route to speak about conditions of black people and get donations to open something.

Until than we feed the poor and mentor kids. Its not about what Im doing though, its about helping our people.

It really bothers me when black people wanna play the switch aroo and point fingers at the people who just ask questions

How am I playing switcharoo? I've never met Tariq before, so I don't know what he's doing and why he's doing it. My whole point was if you feel something needs to be done in your hood do it.

but you was damn near demonizing this nikka cuz he selling apparel... he's giving out free knowledge and speaking on current events...for free. It was cool, the fact it got black people open to something other then western culture but it wasnt all that accurate. Still I will buy part 3. Ok fine no political position, but how about a opening a community center to help blacks get on the right track, he drops knowledge and I think with a good platform he can help young men and women understand how shyt works.

Because the perspective of where youre coming from. The whole jayz and oprah comment is something I here all the time. Its not that we want them to do all the work, we just want some help. If Oprah came to a run down center and gave some money on top of what the owners were putting in that would be great. I asked him to start something he can help and build with for his hood, not mine. Why must my resolve be questions whenever I ask for other people to step up?

Because outside of all of that he speaks the truth, I listen to his podcast when its not dealing with women. I agree with him on many things when it comes to blacks. Just saying that money should be put to better use

It would be cool if Tariq ran for some kind office, but I don't think it would be a good idea if somebody who wrote a book called The Art of Mackin ran for anything. And Im sure he realizes this.
