Kawhi Leonard wasn't drafted into a great situation? Jaylen Brown wasn't in the exact position last year? Paul George wasn't playing on a Playoff team his rookie year? Jimmy Butler? Harrison Barnes? James Harden wasn't playing with two rising superstars right out of the gate?

Harden is the only one who was an early lotto pick outside of Jaylen....who was also drafted to the Celtics lol.
The others took years to get starter minutes for the most part.
They took years because they were not as good and ready as Tatum, who was a starter playing at the 4 in this league even when we had Hayward. Your excuse says a lot more about Tatum than it says about other rookies not getting opportunities.

No, they weren't in situations where 70 % of their offense could be created by other players.
He can create his own shot just fine, if anything he's being held back by Brad's system, just admit you don't watch him. His passing is pretty good, the box score just doesn't show that.

Very obvious at this point. Dude looks at stats and bases his entire evaluations on that. He shytted on Tatum as a shooter when he was shooting 25% from three early in the season. Can't make that argument any more so he's living off of this 70% assisted shyt, as if everyone who's watched/followed Tatum over the years hasn't identified his ability to create his own shot as his biggest strength.
They absolutely would have to include Tatum, and I wouldn't do it.
Anyone on that team not Tatum and Kyrie should be on the table for AD. Celtic fans are hilarious
AD for me is a mercurial talent and that struggle package (0 all-stars & no picks) is laughable, Ainge would do it tomorrow. That said, he's injury issues are a massive cavaet.
He'ss stillthe best young player in the league for me. Freakishly athletic PF who plays both ends at an elite level, gives you efficient 20+ points without being ball dominant plus he's got a 3 ball![]()
