Remember the thing about future draft picks is they are always worth more than a drafted player...Trading a team ability to pick the player they want holds almost more value than trading a current young prospect.

It keeps popping up in reporters mouths, so you know Danny keeps knocking on their door.

Horford would have to go for salary purposes, and at least Jaylen Brown as a starting point. Smart is due for an extension as well and he still projects out as an All Star according to Five thirty eight and their Carmelo projections.

I think a ton would hinge on if we get that Lakers pick this off-season and how much the Pelicans like the young Boston players.

If I’m the Pelicans and I can get Jaylen Brown ( Celtics aren’t giving up Tatum), Marcus Smart, the Lakers pick and another pick I take it in a heartbeat.

Davis isn’t happy so there’s no point in keeping him.

Boston would be bidding against themselves. They should just wait until he asks out
