That song is wack, but fukk this undercover Drake prop up thread.

Im not defending Jays newfound wackness no more,Ill leave that to his new fans:francis:

Cuz i cant believe nikkas who been listening to jay for longer than 15 years can stand to hear him sound like he does now:mjcry:.

I see Future bout tonget thrown under the bus,but he couldve saved the song with a couple verses.
Nah, you just don't like Jay's new persona. I don't know any Jay fans not online that think he didn't rip this. You guys have to stop pretending your opinion is the majority opinion. I openly admit when I'm in the minority like when I thought GKMC was overrated. You guys stay saying shyt that no one else says and acting like the ones who opposed are the contrarians. I Got the Keys is very popular. To say otherwise is heresy. It is charting higher than any of Future's other recent singles and sold faster than For Free and is on its way to platinum. Why would For Free need a video when Khaled promoted the shyt out of it all over snapchat and twitter?

For Free is largely doing well due to the wave of Controlla and One Dance. Just like Luv by Tory Lanez. Jay is obviously not at his peak, but you guys exaggerate shyt like no other. @CrimsonTider is a weirdo Drake stan at this point who just finds angles to dikkride Drake. It is no surprise that he takes issues with a Hov song that takes shots at Drake.

ANd what we got was a knockoff Digital Beat with Jay z trying his best to rap like Drake did on Digital Dash all while running out of breath on the second verse on a song that didn't chart well and isn't hitting in the clubs

All the while Too short's song on the album where he's spitting random lines with no video and no hype becomes one of the songs of the summer

I wish Hov would get out of his feeling towards Drake

Drakes line on Summer 16 is a compliment, I find it hard to believe Jay didn't see it that way but he is the same one that complimented Big by saying "if I'm not better than him...." :francis:

Stick to giving of us the DDA feel GOAT

:mjlol: Jay was the one who liked the beat and the hook is what made the song

You might not like it, but you know it and it sticks in your head :usure:

And the song recently went gold :wow:

Edit: OP you ain't slick trying to make this about Drake

For Free isn't in the vain of Controlla or Love

It's an interpolation of Blow the Whitsle with Drake style and subject matter and beat much better than Blow the Whistle

Future last official single was "Low life" which performed a lot better than IGTK

He also has Wicked that blew up off a mixtape that is gold

And you are right the best part of the song is Jay z rapping like Drake

This song failing would've been impossible that doesn't mean it hit the marks it was expected too

Jays new persona is fine and his raps are fine the motivation and attempt to match Drake is his arena is wack

I don't understand the hate for the hook. It rides and it's catchy as hell

But who ever Khaled has lined up to spit those verses if Jay didn't pick up the phone was going to have a gold single as well. From Meek to Ross to Ace Hood

Going gold doesn't mean it met expectations, damn near every song that pushed goes gold because of streaming these days, especially if it is a super hyped video with everyone from rap in it

BIG was dead when he said that, and most people didn't think it was cool. Nas made it a talking point during his beef with Jay. This is what I was talking about in the other thread when I said you aren't really into rap. You stan a couple guys....as far as being knowledgeable about the subject, you aren't.

And telling someone "I'm the new you" or "I became you" isn't a compliment. Especially not in rap. Especially not when one is young, and one is older. So Jay jabbed him, and you caught feelings. Which is what this is about. You fools aren't smart enough to subtlety pull off a thread like this, stop trying. WickedGames does the exact same thing.

:what:

I said Jay was delusional enough to think that line from the BP was compliment

Saying I wanted to be on Roc a fella then I turned into Jay is a compliment. How can it not be?

And Drake has replaced what Jay z was to mainstream Hiphop from 98-11

And he's replaced Jay as the ultimate rap villain to nerds like you
