Ladies and gentlemen, I am done here. I rest my case. This way of reasoning is 99% of the booth. I'm out, no further comment.

You either can't read or, you're over-reacting to what I said. Name me an album that has come out since 2010, that has done what Kendrick's has done? When we look back, the day that Kendrick's album dropped regardless of what you want to say, will be looked at as a shift in hip hop. It's just facts.

the only album that did that was MBDTF, but you're right. only 2 albums

It won't redefine shyt.

Don't fool yourself. Hipsters love hood hardluck tales and were looking for SOMETHING to ride into the sunset.

I'm not even gonna reply to this, because nothing you just said makes any sense.

his album HASNT DONE ANYTHING...thats the point.

Besides being ridden to high hell by people looking for ANYTHING that they're told takes them "to the 90s" ...I really don't see how fukking "influential" Kendricks' album was.

Drake's presence alone has a more lasting impact on music. :what:

everybody decided to step his game up, a lot of new artists have been influenced by this album (IE: YG wants to release his own version of gkmc)

and I can mention A LOT of artists.

don't even try to rewrite the history

because even if the generation goes on to provide multiple classics. It will always be remembered that GKMC flagshipped that movement. That's why it will define the generation. It's not going overboard if it's the truth guy.

EDIT: But if you want me to rephrase the statement. Kendrick has and album that has a CHANCE(I think it will) to define the generation. Drake doesn't, simple as that.

You've done nothing to add to anything... you didn't dispute anything I said with any facts, so I'm left to believe you're stanning. :umad:

Nope u are

Wdf is Kdot bringin back....what is changing..:what:

Theres no major change that will come about with this album...all u claim is this arbitrary claim of him bring lyricism back when yall dnt even know what the fukk that means

50 cent's debut changed sht as he brought back a grittiness to mainstream hip hop that wasnt seen in a long time

Ye's Graduation album left a lasting impression on the game and made the game turn a complete 180 from hood sht to soft, more vunerable music

Wdf is Kdot bringing with this album

Whats changin...??

I dnt see it :mindblown:

Kdot is just makin good music..same goes for Drake..I dnt see any monumental event happenin because of this release

Ur the one thats just stannin nikka..gtfoh with that sht and just say u loved the album

nikka talm bout some "GKMC makin nikkaz switch they styles"

nikka plz...Kdot is just a new face in the same game:upsetfavre:

You nigggas keep saying that, but DRAKE was getting credit for doing that.

Remember rap around 2009. :comeon:

Thats Wale, Cudi, Drake...THATS when rap was coming back around to lyrics.

Napoleon must be mad that gkmc is the new standard,
Napoleon must be mad that when he reads a review, he always has to see new albums being compared to gkmc :pacspit:

nikka must be mad because kendrick is praised more than his favorite artist :pacspit:

rappers said they wanted to step their game up because of kendrick, not because of Drake, don't be mad :win:

Told nikkas when I was 16 that I'd write a 16
To put a nikka right on the big screen
In the paddy wagon with 16, should have been in the pen
But then my pen write with morphine
I heal nikkas, touch down with more fiends
I kill nikkas, audio crack, khakis to meal ticket
Cardio lap, was running for dear life but now I'm running the map

bytch, I'm here nikka

Fact of the matter is Kendrick drops albums which have staying power and can do it on his own back. Drake on the other hand is inconsistent with his own releases and still cannot drop a balanced project which is equal from start to finish. He may have better songs, but overall it's all Kendrick.

Fact is Kendrick is comfortable in his own skin, whereas Drake is feening for respect from all sides. Would Drake have rejected say a Gaga feature? Hell no.
