I'm sorry but these John Wick movies have to be the most over hyped thing I've ever seen

I love action movies but I have always found the JW movies to be overly violent. Maybe I am just getting older but watching senseless violence without much substance is no longer appealing to me. plus our culture already has a grotesque fascination with murder and killing anyway.

Brehs I saw JW3 at the movies last night. The whole movie is literally fight scenes with minimal dialogue, that's it. I don't even really get the plot (granted I never watched the first one, I vaguely remember watching the second one and I was 15 min late for this one). Keaneu Reeves must've said like 100 words top in the whole movie. shyt just feels like cliche forced "edgy" fight scenes. Idk man am I missing something ? I feel like 10 year old me would love this cause its just senseless violence but I just don't get the hype

The first one was cool because of great visuals and innovative fight scenes. The story was trash though Haven't bothered to watch the sequels because I figuered that the formula must get boring pretty quickly.

The third film was boring as hell, and gory for no reason. About 75% of the way through it was like ok when is this shyt going to end. We get it he can whoop ass.

Action scenes with some world building inbetween the action scenes, cause if you are watching JW movies you really just want to see the action

play to your strengths and don't try and be something you aren't

I was passing a IMAX theater when it was playing, no lie s*** sounds like it was going down on some Aurora steeze literally nonstop action 3/4ths of the movie.​

I'm not easily entertained by gratuitous blood and gore like an impressionable ADHD 10 year old kid. It is what it is If you are, that's cool but I prefer great acting and compelling storylines. I don't mind action. I love mob films, Goodfellas, Casino all of them have violence. Realistic violence might I add. Not hanging off a motorcycle while swinging swords in a high speed chase You probably watch Power Rangers too huh Ol "that was sooooo cooool " ass nikka
