Teams that finish with records of 9-7 actually have a shot at bein called "WORLD CHAMPIONS"

That's pretty much every year..9-7 is often good enough for a wildcard spot...

and even so...

do you think any of them will beat Seattle or New Orleans in the NFC or Denver/KC/NE in the AFC on the road? Possible, but unlikely.

I'm still a big fan of the NFL...but it is becoming a league that shows unbelievable favoritism to some players while just allowing some other players to get killed...

You can't do anything aggressive to Brady and Brees...

But you can somehow flip Big Ben upside down on his head and not get a flagged called...

This is very true. And the only thing I really hate about the league. Its certain golden wholesome white boys that cannot be touched...

only reason nfl is top sport is because every city team minus a few teams have a chance to make the playoffs and the league loves it because those fans will continue to spend money cause they believe there team can win

But I have stopped watching I haven't watched more than 4 or 5 minutes of a game for the past 3 weeks. I watched my team but even that's a chore now. The NFL is consistently inconsistent. I use to be big on stats, but the stats don't mean shyt anymore. Its a joke.

What about college football then.. The quality is ass there too. The last game I watched from start to finish was Alabama/Texas A&M. I usually watch my Hokies play Miami no matter what but this year I didn't watch it. You got players getting thrown out of games over hits now A defensive player has to stop dead in his tracks if his helmet comes off or its a penalty. And as far as the Cowboys go. I don't care that they lose anymore which says a lot.
