yep, there are many racist fans that follow american sports leagues - take a look at the NFL for example (love the league, not trying to hate)...

who was that black player in the league back in the day; that whenever he got a touch, the entire stadium (tens of thousands) would sing or chant this crazy ass "black bird," song?

what policy did the nfl have to institute to make sure that black head coaching candidates would actually get an interview?

how many fukking ryan's or schottenheimer's, shanahan's or phillips must there be before people get a clue?

what racist meme, still to this day, exists about black qb's?

how many times you see players being called "thugs" or "cancer" or "prima donna?"

what league has a team called the "redskins?" c'mon breh...

let's be real, you might not have some crazy lunatic throwing a banana, but you get that crazy lunatic sending racist letters and death threats directly to the player or team.

racism in american sports is very prevalent today and it's not a thing of the past - it's just not given the proper spotlight or focus as it should be given.

the media, fans and even some players employ "dog whistles," code words and use framing to talk about an issue or subject, mostly of course, when referring to a black player.

most top level international soccer players are not like your average idiotic fan. they speak multiple languages, experience different cultures, have teammates (friends) from various backgrounds and ethnicities.

don't hate the sport because of some particular fan base.

how can one hate the spanish team as a whole, when you have a player like xavi hernandez on the team? not only is he the best at what he does, but he gives his time and money, year after year doing humanitarian work, going to africa, etc.?

if anything, soccer is the most diverse and inclusive sport.

KAKA was a top player 5 or 6 years ago, he is way past his prime, as for Rooney to say second best...naaah..he is one of the great "strikers" but not #2 player in the world for sure...

Kaka was a great player years ago, he was in his prime when he was playing for AC Milan years ago. There are many players that are more affective than KAKA now a days in numerous leagues.

breh we're not in jackie robinson or bill russell's eras anymore. thousands of fans aren't chanting racist shyt in unison at black players, nor are they writing racist death threats en masse

nobody said american fans hold hands and sing we shall not be moved, but you're crazy if you think its as much of a problem here than it is in europe

breh i'm a chelsea supporter, we had active and blatant white supremacists in the terraces in the EIGHTIES

and :pacspit: xavi, didier drogba is a got damn UN special ambassador and worked to stop civil war in cote d'ivoire, but if he didn't bring my team continuous glory over the past decade i'd :pacspit: at him too
