Is story telling something you can work on or is it you’re either good at it or you aren’t

What makes a bad story teller, especially in the sense of YouTube

Some of both I think. There is a structure to storytelling but being a personality requires a certain level of charisma as well. Ultimately anything can be learned though if studied and applied. I guarantee a lot of these big YouTubers are lame as hell in person but they learned how to be the on camera character. Meanwhile we all have people who captivate a room that may clam up on camera. Long story short, do that shxt and see what people gravitate to.
