I'm starting to hate the gay agenda being forced upon people

I agree with all that but those are the cases that I'm certain will get thrown out. If boy scouts/frats aren't letting homosexuals in (or kicking them out for being homosexual) then obviously that's against the law but as far as I'm aware that's not how it is. So there's no leg to stand on for that.

Do you mean it SHOULD be against the law. Currently it is not against the law for a private organization to include or exclude whoever they want. It's just like here at the coli, if we decided to exclude certain people for ANY reason.
The government couldnt step in and force us to change our policies.

the-coli can decide to exclude a certain person for any reason, but if the the brooklynzson and bkdagawd decided to permanently ban people based on sexual orientation, then there might be legal precedent for fighting that.

No there wouldn't. I can't fight the fact that the KKK won't let me in. It is well within their rights to exclude who they want. The only time anti descrimination laws are applicable is if the club is providing a public service. Or receiving subsidies from the government. Other than that clubs are immune to anti descrimination laws.

I forget which one but one of the most prestigous country clubs in America has a very public no women policy. And nobody can or has even tried to force them to change it.

I don't have any kids but it seems silly to worry about things out of your control. It's more important to embrace your children accepting the changes to the times than to preach about how things used to be...especially if it's something like this. You gotta accept that your kids might end up opposing you on topics like this.

Naw only thing I preach to my kids is tolerance and to be respectful of themselves and others no matter what their choices or views are.

I would never have the conversation that I'm having here with my kids. Unless of course they were older and could add their experiences, thoughts, and views.

These are views that I have internally that I decided to address on this forum. Just to get it off my chest. Can't say unpopular things in public or people start to pass judgment on you, kinda like some of the other posters did in this thread.

Give them marriage and drop the shyt. Marriage now is s secular institution with legal ramifications that gay couples are denied like being able to inherit a spouses assets with no estate tax, being able to be on a spouses health care. Being able to have both spouses be legal parents instead of just one. Being able to inherit the spouses larger social security benefits and tax filing purposes.

If a law was made to force the boy scouts to accept homosexual members it would actualy be stripping rights away from the boy scouts owners.

This would all be fine and dandy...but the Boy Scouts accept federal funding.

If they want to restrict membership, they need to stop accepting the tax dollars for funding.

yeah you're right, but that has nothing to do with gay rights. That's just corrupt politicians leaving loop holes open for those that pay for their campaigns.

you don't have to be gay to see that they deserve the same rights as all of us.

for all the religious people who hate gays, if you all had a gay brother or sister, I guaran-fukking-tee you'd see things differently.

I understand if SHE feels that way. But I don't have to agree with her. My daughter shouldn't have to compete against her. And I shouldn't be torn down as a bad person just because I feel that way. People don't like alot of stuff I do but I would be wrong to condemn them as hateful bigoted people, just because they disagree with me.
