The arrogance and ego of a white boy is easily dealt with by never letting them get to know you. Those evil cat eyes dilate once they figure out they aren't getting to know your triggers and what they can play on your emotions with. They start spilling important things about their past in an attempt to get you to spill your guts to them but you tell them nothing but keep those trump cards in your back pocket for later use.
I have met plenty of "former" meth and heroin addicts by doing this. I don't dislike them but I intimately understand how they work and I understand that 99% of them are racist even if they don't know it. Those hipster whites are the ones that scare me because black people tend to let their guard down around them and that's why I'm actually more comfortable around the redneck good ole boy type of ofays.

people will take this is being a sweeping generalization, but I've come to learn these exact same things outlined in this post and agree 100% with them.
I still have white people in my life who I call friends, but at the end of the day, I know how they get down, not based on what I've heard, but based on cold hard experience.
