:rudy: listen i dont want PJ either but

but who gonna tell provk the GM u just gave 3 more years too invested 42million into 3 players but we gonna play 3 youngins instead

I'm not saying they need to start. Let them play in the rotation at least. We needed some extra help off our bench since it was basically just Bogans/Watson/Blatche and a little from Hump.

Tyshon showed when he got the shot in Indy he could play. When Mirza got consistent minutes he showed promise. Toko put up crazy numbers in the D league, and he showed out that 2nd to last game. And we all know what MarShon can be capable of.

PJ couldn't consistently find those guys 5-10 minutes a night just to give em a look? Plus even if you want to trade them not playing hurts their value, MarShon is not the piece he was 12 months ago thanks to this season.

only you're assuming that one year of misery would lead to CP3 and Dwight when nothing in the past or present would have indicated that you would have had that.

Coulda had Dwight last year, but that idiot opted in and deaded that for y'all. Tried to get him earlier dangling Brook and still nothing happened. CP3 could easily just stay in LA. Dwight could still stay in LA. If both situations happened, then what? You can't take that risk here. Last time they set themselves to go get 2 max players they walked away with Travis Outlaw. All the hoopla about Brooklyn and the Nets and everything that went on would have never existed.

Nets have nothing to be ashamed of. Year 1 was a success simply because they made the playoffs, lost, and people actually cared. Not sure if the team is a title contender, but that's up to D-Will and Brook. If you have no faith in that, then I don't know what to tell you, but it's not like BK was deciding between D-Will/Lopez and CP3 /Dwight.

100% agreed. There was ZERO chance the Nets were bringing a 25 win team to a brand new arena with the slogan "We suck real bad right now, but hey CP3 and Dwight are Free Agents next summer! And if we don't get them we can stack Lottery picks! Buy your tickets now!"

We went from 29th in attendance to 12th in 1 season, and are top 5 in merchandise sales by team. That does not happen without the moves we made.

How were the Nets supposed to predict the Lakers total collapse this season leading to Dwight maybe not staying, and the way the Clips season ended? And even with those happening there's no guarantee they come anyway.

I'll take the playoffs for the next 3 seasons over 25 wins and hoping for Free Agents every summer.

Ive been away from the comp most of the weekend but :salute: to all of yall this first season in bk... @TR7 @Dirty_Jerz @DStyles @Vlazz @T.O.N.Y 2Chainz @Real Talk of NY @kingofnyc @PoPo @relldaproblem @Bk's Mr Incredible @Majestyx @Deron Johnson Howard @King P @feelosofer and anyone else i forgot.

Interesting first season. Wanted to win a playoff series but :manny:

PJ is finally gone :blessed: and hopefully the whole staff. Just get rid of the whole avery system period.

Just want to get a coach who will play the young guys and use what we have better fill out the bench a bit better. Roster isnt perfect but no reason to be stubborn and not use what we have.

Nets had an absolutely outstanding first season. I would imagine they exceeded all the reasonable expectations set upon them. The future is bright.

so Iso joe went clubbing after the loss.

that boy never gave a fukk:yeshrug:

Do any of them really? :ld:

But Im not gonna lie, been too busy with school and other shyt to really follow this season. Only went to one game (against okc, which we lost). I knew they wouldn't go deep in the offs, just glad they made it cuz alotta cats up here were saying they wouldn't even make it at Tue beginning of the season.

They shoulda won this fukking series and get the obligatory sweeping from Miami tho. No excuses for losing to a hobbled team.

AFAIK, we can't make any decent moves, which sucks, but I'm still rocking my fitted cocked to the side

From what I'm hearing, the Nets will try and sign Kyle Korver. Fine, we could use another shooter.

I think Hump & Brooks are gonna be used as trade bait to get one final piece to add to the puzzle

I'm cool wit any of those, EXCEPT Larry Brown.

Keep him the fukk away Billy, that's 17 steps backward after the 1 step forward by dumping PJ.

PJ & avery were trying to keep their jobs
no coach is gonna experimate with rooks/unprovens with the amount of pressure put on them

this is why is kinda believe we not gonna get the big name coach

But when the guys they are playing go cold and can't get the job done what's so bad about giving someone else a shot?

It's not like we asked them to take out Michael Jordan to play MarShon Brooks, we talking about stealing some minutes from Bogans/Stack/Watson to give to Toko/MarShon/Tyshawn. And from Evans for Tele.

Plus their bosses were asking them to play the young guys more and both of them didn't listen, so they were deading their own job by sticking with the same old shyt.
