I think some of the girls just do it so they can get people to contradict their statements. It's the same I'm fat game. People are like OMG, no you're not!
Some people don't necessarily think they're ugly but just average. I don't think I'm super cute or anything, just plain jane-ish. I'm okay with that though. Also, online (where people are constantly going for social interaction) the standards are ridiculous. Someone in some other thread just said Deelishis is a butterface. Now she's no Halle, but she's not ugly at all. The internet has ruined standards for people. Girls who are cute are called ugly online because they don't look like a supermodel.

Mostly by men yet men have the nerve to say they are more realistic with social expectations. Men are funny as hell.
