It seemed like a cool time

nikkas was always outside
GOAT Hip-Hop music being put out, R&B GOATs was in their primes
Some GOAT TV Shows
You could turn on the TV and see Music Videos
Pac was still alive
Basketball had the GOATs
90's was awesome, but 80's was fun too. I only experienced it as a little kid, so I know if I was a teenager or 20 year old it would have been even better
As far as R&B GOATs in their primes :whoa:.
The overall quality and quantity of R&B might have been the best, but the GOATS like MJ, Prince, Luther, Anita, Janet, Stevie, Marvin had their best work in the 80's and 70's. I'm jealous of ones that got to see a prime MJ or Prince in concert

not the GOATs
some of them, like Jodeci, R. Kelly, MJ and Prince had a or come classics, Mary J. Blige

70s and 80s will forever be the GOAT R&B eras

i feel you though

i aint even gave views a fair shake yet...im not a drake hater but when i pressed play and this nikka started singing, i aint last two minutes...thats not how the biggest rapper in the game should be jumping off whats supposed to be his opus...how the fukk we go from shyt like "ambitions of a rydah", "dynasty intro", "gimme the loot", "tha mobb" "whutup gangsta" jumping off classic rap albums to a nikka crooning bout lost love for 5 minutes :stopitslime:

this is with whom we choose to place our faith?

i couldnt even be bothered

ive accepted my flaptop.. let the young boys live

luckily we got enough quality in the 80s and 90s to last a lifetime

every now and then i'll stumble upon something new that i like but i wont actively go around looking for it like i used to

my fav era too, i listen to 90s shyt most of the time, 80s too. but i still find 90's shyt that i've never heard before i'm listening to the Gang Related soundtrack right now, i never listened to that back then because i was over the shyt by then, i stopped listening to new Death Row stuff once Pac died, after 7 Day Theory i didn't want to hear anything else i was too busy with so much other music. Mack 10, Wu Tang, Scarface, OutKast, shyt even Cash Money in 98/99 i remmeber buying 400 Degreez soon after it came out, i had to order it off Amazon back when the Aussie dollar was fukked! cost me like $40-50 by the time i paid for shipping and all that. :blessed: but it was worth it

Me too Brehs.

I don't even attempt to try new music anymore. For a couple year period starting around 2003, each time I would try a new artist it would be powerfully wack to the point I thought it could be some kind of prank. Eventually I said "fukc it".

Every half a year or so I will click a YouTube vid and be sorry I did.

Here's a jewel: go back and find the shyt you overlooked back then. For me it was alot of BCC lesser known stuff, alot of Wu Affiliates, C list 41st Side niqqas

At the time KillArmy wasn't on my radar when I had the actual Clan dropping heat, but now they shyt is doper than everything coming out now to me.
