:wtf: They are not showing the game on the app.
If you don't have a laptop or desktop computer, you are screwed.
Yes they are. Just looked it up: http://news.yahoo.com/where-stream-nfl-playoff-games-223407910.html

NBC football online
NBC is hosting two major wildcard matchups on Saturday, and you'll be able to stream them free both on NBC Sports Live Extra. You can watch the games from your PC, or via the Live Extra apps for iOS and Android. NBC's playoff schedule is as follows:

Jan. 4: Chiefs at Colts - 4:35 p.m. ET

Jan. 4: Saints at Eagles - 8:10 p.m. ET

They've never streamed football games on the app version if Live Extra before, and the schedule right now doesn't show games upcoming.
If it works, it works. But I wouldn't count on it. :manny:
Yes they have. I've watched a few partial Sunday Night games whilst sitting on the toilet while using the app. Go to the Sports section of the app, then click on NFL. It'll show Chiefs vs. Colts ("Watch LIVE on Saturday at 4:00pm ET") first, followed by Saints vs. Eagles ("Watch LIVE on Saturday at 8:00pm ET").

All I see is AFC Playoff Preview, NFC Playoff Preview, Coaches in the Hot Seat.
I see nothing that indicates they have a game upcoming on any of the menus.

Just out of curiosity since I may need it, I decided to check out this NBC Sports Live Extra app ... and why has it only got a two-star rating on iTunes store? :patrice:

Because it was useless for a long time and they botched the first couple weeks of this EPL season with connection errors all over the place.

Then it's messed up for you for some reason (maybe internet provider, who knows), but it's there for me.

Although after @SHAQAVELLI's post, I read some reviews, and some ppl with Time Warner are having issues with the app, though I have Time Warner, and it's always worked fine for me (outside of not being able to stream Premier League Matches). Who knows. :manny:

It's :trash: or at least it was when I had it....always found it a lot easier to just watch it on the actual website

I have Fios. Outside of the 1st 2 weeks, never had a problem with the PL. But I've never seen NFL live games on there. They work in the website.

Just loaded up the app.
No NFL games, just like I've always known.

There's PGA golf, Short Track ice skating for the Olympics, Yale v St Louis in college basketball.
