I only watch basketball and football plus big boxing match and Olympic track and field.
I don't mind blow outs to be honest. Blow outs been going on since the beginning of sports. Now all of sudden think it's a problem because people want to see the NBA ratings go down.
The league pass I brought was NBA. I watched every playoff game. Im a basketball head so it's hard for me to understand the casual fan's perspective when they talk about games not being competitive and shyt. Because most of time blow outs be good basketball. One team just be clicking on all cylinders. Hitting the hockey assist, making 3-4 passes without the ball touching the ground. They playing defense with active hands, getting in the passing lanes, getting 4-5 stops in a row making the other team constantly call time out because they can't get in rhythm, causing turnovers, playing good help defense.
It's hard for a casual fan to appreciate that. They only understand if it's 2 minutes to go and it's a close ballgame. But I say majority of tight ball games just be sloppy basketball. 2 teams not running set plays, not making the extra pass, missing a bunch of shots, running ISO trying to take their man off the dribble, settling for jump shots or contested shots, not communicating on defense, having mental lapses, not playing help defense when their teammate gets beat off the dribble. Just dumb shyt plus heroball shyt.
Most of time close games go something like this both teams playing sloppy, one go on a run, back to playing sloppy, other team go on a run, back to playing sloppy, still playing sloppy but now we got 5 minutes to go in the 4th. This the time the casual fan start playing attention because majority of the game they playing on their phone or doing other shyt. So that's why in their head they think that a good game.
But the only reason casual fans on The Coli been saying this is the WOAT playoffs because the Warriors and Cavs haven't lost yet. I guarantee if the Cavs and Warriors had 3-4 losses to their resume they wouldn't saying shyt. You got to take their opinion with a grain of salt. They probably salty their favorite team not on the level of the Cavs or Warriors. That's all
