That’s always the beginning of the end. He had too much info out there about himself - which is why I think he is trying to be proactive this time. He had a few bad online experiences that went completely left that carried over outside of the internet. There’s blood-related brothers and sisters that poster on this site. It’s usually the females that aren’t roaming around here recklessly posting nudes or being sexually suggestive, thirst trapping for attention bc of men they are close to or related to keeping us in check.

I just think most of his and his sister’s issues are their parents raising them to be white-adjacent to the extreme. Not trying to start diaspora shyt off purely speculating what I have observed; but she’s an African/Nigerian LSA poster who brags about white men and has an abject disdain for black men/Black Americans which manifests itself in her attitudes towards her brother. He’s had the same issues in the past with his anti - black dialogue but had at least seen the wrongness in his ways. They both harbored a lot of contempt- he was moving past this. Now that he’s a couple of seats removed from the c00n train- that’s where an aspect of the family conflict comes to play. He’s embracing his “blackness” so to speak- but not just his race but his militancy in black affairs which is causing further division. He’s breaking away from their control, thinking for himself - he’s in late stage rebellion. He never had the chance as a teenager to have his break-free moment from parental obedience, which is also where the emotional immaturity comes to play. I saw that poster @Gold deal with some of the same in conflict with his African dad. Being involved with the family is based on conditions; combine that with the favoritism that his parents clearly have for his sister. These posters like him who post diaries of their lives (no diss) just speaking facts; you can analyze their inner conflicts. That’s why I fell back on torching him bc he’s obviously struggling with unresolved conflicts and at least he’s one of the few who admitted his wrongs instead of doing the double down or dodging accountability.

Real talk- this is an absolutely amazing breakdown and truthfully could be it’s own thread/topic. I honestly think your perspective can help OP make sense of why he feels the way he does and possibly better relate to his sister.

OP, this is one of the most genuine and empathetic comments one could EVER expect to receive from a stranger on ANY message board. Those words are helping a few more people on TheColi.

Families fight. I completely understand the ideas of ignored/hidden dysfunction and it pops up in ways we never expect. In this case, you AND your sister seeking outlets online that you didn’t have within your family/friends. Now…here it is…

It’s gonna be ok. But you have to eventually stand your ground, stand on what you said and explain to your family —sis in particular— why you feel this way, why you felt like you couldn’t communicate with them, and what needs to happen for everyone to move forward and live healthier, more honest lives.

Millions of people are on message boards/social media for very similar reasons.

Girl, so, so, SO many people share this story.
It’s tough because people really do try to do right by their children, but end up putting their kids in adverse environments that stunt their growth. And it often isn’t realized until adulthood.

Breh does go through the world of confusion. I just think op needs to talk to his sister and have a real talk moment but she probably done seen his post history and it's hard to recover from that. My best friend lurks here and I said something about him in regards to his relationship that I realized I had no business saying and I got confronted about it and realized right then and there, what you say here is really real. That's why I am so measured even when I go off on nikkas on here.

His sister seems the type to gaslight and manipulate tf out of people - I don’t think she’s ready to confront her own demons, nevermind having a rational discussion. I mean, what type of sister talks wild ish about black men on LSA knowing her brother is black, adding insult to injury; communicates with her own brother through forums.
