So you nikkas miss this part huh?

"Society’s plan for me backfired. All my life, I was taught by Amerikkka that black men would never love me or give me the things that I needed. I was taught that black men grow up to be criminals and that they can’t be trusted. All of these lies I accepted as truth. I did what society wanted — I dated a white man because I thought black men weren’t good enough. And instead, I found out the exact opposite was true. Now I see why they want us to be apart so badly. Because our love, when true, is revolutionary. Being in love with a black man now… it’s incredible. At the end of the day, there’s nothing like having his brown skin next to mine, our histories, people and hearts intertwined together at the root."

really tho what more do you nikkas want?

So she used to think that black men were no good because " society taught her that " until she got smutted out by a racist white man, then she said to herself " maybe black men are not so bad after all :jbhmm: " :dead:.
Some black women in the same environment don't need to pass through all that to date a black man, and those are who I respect :sas2:.

Even though I'm happy she broke from her programing, I don't understand why some of you can't see why dudes would be wary to date someone who only came to like you because her first picks didn't see her as more than a exotic fukk toy. Just like I wouldn't blame bw for not taking back dudes who want to come home cause they put ww/non-bw on a pedestal and got burned in the process.

you honestly sound like your feelings are hurt. Everything about america cause us to feel self hate about our selves. If she didn't in beauty in her own blackness then how could she see beauty in a Black man??
Do you think Black women can't make mistakes and be forgiven? Why hold a grudge against someone who is clearly in a different mental/spiritual space??

this post brought up something that i've never known about black folks that i've been discovering lately: there are many black people out here who embraced their blackness (whatever this means) VERY late in life, like in college and shyt

you will hear them say shyt like "i hated being black"; "i didn't think black was good"; "i never felt black" :what:
shyt like this is just foreign to me because being black in my mind was ALWAYS cool and black folks who embraced being black was all i looked up to. i thought this experience was shared between all black folks but i'm learning that there's a SUBSTANTIAL portion of black folks who this was not the case for.

so you get these chics who are 20+ years old and for the first time calling themselves "embracing blackness" but never had any real love for a black man, woman or black culture :dead: this "woke" shyt is more of a costume, a phase that they're going through.

i'm always suspicious about black folks who talk about didn't embrace being black or didn't like being black and shyt like that. they basically just saying they were c00ns for most of their formative years. and those beliefs don't just go away

No my feeling aren't hurt, I'm always a cautious person.

White nationalists also deal with ex-liberals converting over because of failed interracial relationships. They generally accept them as long as they don't bring it up because they're smart and want as much people on their side they can get. It seems the opposite happens among pro-black people: former c00ns are always being judged by their past mistakes, no matter what they do to redeem themselves. I'm predicting a lot of hate regarding this one. But hey, what else is new?

lol @ yall expecting everybody to be enlightened since birth. everyone's quest is different. at least she made it back :yeshrug:
shyt, I do. Even when I was in 3rd Grade and I heard a White kid make a racist joke they'd heard from their parents, I could feel how wrong it was. I didn't have to be well versed in racial discourse to know it was fukked up.
