I can’t make a new account because it seems like registrations is closed so im just using my man’s account on here. I run the Meccapolis instagram account which chronicles classic 80s/90s New York City history. Just doing a questionnaire. Ask me anything you want, disrespectful questions included. Nothing is taken personal

What's your favorite Insane Clown Posse song??

Salute brother, I appreciate it. And that would be fire. There's so much rich history on your page, not just street shyt just NY culture from the 80s and 90s in general.

Excellent content …. How do you get all the photos (if this hasn’t been asked already)

have you ever had any of your posts taken down due to copyright reasons where the original photographer came out the woodworks and threatened to sue or send you some kinda takedown notice because of bullshyt or jealousy? if so, can you post them here? i wish blackIG was a thing so IG wouldn't be as big as a platform benefitting off rare content like this, props...

you can cross promote your page on r/HipHopImages by submitting the pictures and saying your IG there

all they do is request for me to credit them. but i mainly use rare photos and polaroids that the family members of the people who im profiling own and most of them don’t even legally have their photos copyrighted. one of my goals soon is to meet with all of them and help them copyright their photos so that when the tv networks come to me for licensing permission i can get them paid. because currently most nikkas just be having their pics in the crib chilling not knowing how much worth is in old new york city history photos. thats my job is to help them understand. nikkas got pics of their mans in 1992 wearing polo sweaters and jordan 7s in brooklyn not understanding that polo or jordan might be interested in using their pics for their coffee books or advertising campaigns.

Thanks for posting. Have always enjoyed seeing your photos and some of the history behind it. That NY late 80s style has always been dope to me .

You still on Twitter? I remember you had fire tweets but would always get suspended because they were controversial.

yeah i started with only the street shyt until i realized that NY as a whole got rich history. like in every aspect. even til today to be honest. new york culture never really died and its gonna come back in a big way because nikkas is tired of los angeles (shootings/robberies/extortion) and every rapper in atlanta is getting ricos.
