so if you remember the character Bird then yeah buddy was about to grow up and be a body catcher

You saw Duke was smart and could thrive in the right circumstances, but he didn't get them and he got introduced to them rocks and it's the cycle. Think about if Duke had the chance to get adopted by Bunny instead of Namond. Even if he wasn't cut for the streets and had a terrible set of parents. His situation was still better than Dukes and ultimately got an even bigger boost through Colvin.

Can we get some Kenard hate up in this bytch. I ain't never hated kid like I hated Kenard.

Actually he may have been one of the best characters on the show. He played a junkie but you could also tell be was highly intelligent and could have been somebody if he could stay clean. Then he had a hell of a redemption arc.

I gotta rewatch because I don't really remember how his story played out (I do somewhat). But what you said about dude was on point.

I'm a hood nikkas that had money at times and ran with some real gutter nikkas. There are some folks who are highly intelligent but just got caught up in the lifestyle (rather selling or using). Mike was also highly intelligent, same for Stringer/Avon/Marlo. The dumbest nikkas were Snoop and Brody was kinda off book wise.

I value that level of intelligence and if I crossed paths with the Bubbles character, id chop it up with him every time I seen him. You can learn so much from dudes like that, no matter how bad their life is going, intelligence leaks to people who are willing to listen.

I HATED bodie my first watch

after multiple rewatches

dude is top 10
maybe top 5 on the show

and again i like his arc too… he got tired of the life

and wanted to get out but he aint no anything else

i felt bad for randy. theres a subreddit for that show and people on there swear up and down that randy became the 'new' prop joe. i dont think so. we saw him later with bunk when he pushed that kid down the stairs those other kids beat all the friendliness out of him
