been playing it again (tew 2005) with 1997 world scenario since i made that hbk hypothetical thread
the roster was made just after bret made the switch and i did so much altering to roster that i forgot to switch hbk and bret
either way, as WCW...i am CRUSHING WWF. my roster is
brock lashley and DB were in the database since they started their careers slightly after (between 98-00)..so i made them active and signed them for cheaps. had brock beat steiner in a weight lifting contest in his first appearance. also signed king kurt since he was a free agent and lita to get a diva in there. trish and punk were too expensive. i also created myself
got thunder on thursdays for 90 minutes on TBS...doing 5 mil+ a show
nitro is beating out raw even though they have raw on two channels.
just had starrcade (started in week 1 december so im a month in) and it did 980k buys (much more than real life starrcade)
had hogan, flair and sting in a 3 way feud for the belt, savage vs ddp, scott hall vs booker t, nash vs the giant, jericho vs kurt angle and bret vs myself in major feuds
steiner bros vs meng/barbarian and dudley boyz in the midcard (signed them away from ECW a week before their contract ended)
eddy as cruiserweight champ with rey, psichosis, juvy, ultimo dragon and others in the lower mid
put arn anderson back in the 4 horseman with flair/malenko/benoit then i turned mr perfect and added him..then put him over saturn for the us or tv belt i forget
had the nWo run in and cost savage vs DDP then turned savage face
gave lex luger the deavors
made a stable called the million dollar men with brock/lashley/myself and ted dibiase as manager.
nearly every damn show is rated an A or better..gotten to the point where an A show hurts my popularity sometimes.. goldberg keeps complaining about booking though
nitro's contract is up soon..gonna get it on 5 networks and move the timeslot to 730-930 to pick up younger viewers and try and keep early RAW viewers on Nitro...especially after I saw what Vince is booking.
this was one Raw card:
Hawk beats miguel perez jr
Flash Funk beats Mabel
Animal beats Jarrett
Taka beats Brian Christopher
Road Dogg beats Skull to retain IC
HBK beats Mosh to retain Heavyweight belt
only drew 8k in a New England venue
