The best RPGs on the PS2 in my opinion are Persona 4 and Xenosaga Episode III.

the problem with Episode III is you have to play through the rest of the series to understand it and Episode II is one of the worse games i played in years but overall it was worth it.

Persona 4 is the Persona series perfected.

I'd recommend Final Fantasy X. Love that game.

Popped in my copy of FF8 in my PS3. Got about halfway thru disc two, and the game freezes. Can't get out of the Garden
