I’m thinking about moving back to the south. Specifically Atlanta. Convince me why it’s a good or bad idea

I recommend it, food is amazing, easy culture to get into. its literally in my opinion NYC just south

If you can afford it DO IT, just be careful of the neighborhood you move to, who you become close with, and keep your distance from guys (and girls, set up girls are HUGE) who "have opps".

Tucson, Arizona.
I love the nature around here but not much else and I’ve gotten my fill of that. Not to mention lack of black folks compared to the south. Looking to get back to a big city tbh

If you enjoy FBA culture there are no downsides except traffic and potentially crime depending where you live. I’m guessing you’re in tech or a high paying field so you will be okay in that aspect. Get you a nice apartment in mid town or one of the gentrifying neighborhoods 
I say stay in Tucson. Atlanta is cool but it's becoming overcrowded. A lot of jobs and opportunities are out there in Arizona. Atlanta it's more competitive.
The soul food is better in Georgia but the mexican food is better in AZ. Why do you want to move back to Atlanta?
I’m not moving back to Atlanta, but just south in general. But I just want to be in a bigger city for my girl’s sake tbh since the job market here in Tucson is terrible and it will be easier for her to get a job there if I get one there.
I have experienced Atlanta traffic and forgot how crazy that shyt was. So that is something to think about.
As far as staying in Az, maybe I’ll look into trying to move to phoenix but heard that have some of the same issues as Atlanta these days. But they have a lot more black folks and probably satisfy what I’m looking for.

But seriously research the job market and take that into account before moving. If that lines up I see no downsides to moving to Atlanta from Arizona if you are moving into a decent neighborhood.

Move to charlotte. It has a feel of what ATL used to be but even it’s changing so go where the residents aren’t complaining about it being full.

Though Virginia is on the list too. But that housing in Northern VA is crazy af when I was looking at it.

The Atlanta metro has 2 million black people only second to New York. You are not getting that type of experience in Charolette. Atlanta is not full ignore the people saying that.
