I’m thinking about moving back to the south. Specifically Atlanta. Convince me why it’s a good or bad idea

They never lost it. The new south manifesto represented the rebirth of southern society. Not equity, but the closest thing to status quo as possible. Imagine us having a county where it’s majority black and we target white people. Atl has always been cool, to an extent, but it’s a reason why Stone Mountain is there and the 2nd klan formed there. It’s a hotbed for hatred and it’s in the bloodlines

Atlanta is not full but that we know that’s a conservative talking point. And traffic is not trash in Atlanta like Philly and NYC. Imagine having 2 lanes on I-20. That’s I-76 through Philly. People just don’t know how to drive and do wtf they want.

A city being full. Doesn’t happen in capitalism. That’s why Atl metro is like 10 counties now instead of 3-5 when I grew up. It will continue to grow bc people love the urban sprawl. You could make an economic state with Atl, Chattanooga, Huntsville, and Birmingham and make a gold mine

I assume you have a skillset where if layoffs occur you can get an interview fairly quickly. Do you have an opportunity lined up at a company in the area or are you applying to jobs in only the metro area?
