I'm extremely skeptical and I don't want to end up being prescribed medication or being milked for my health insurance but I feel like that's going to be the end result 9/10.

I'm only considering it because I think there could be value in having a different perspective on what I feel are consistent problems in my life. :francis:

Anybody have experience? Did it make any difference? Would you do it over again?

The depression is as much chemical imbalance in the brain as it is emotional. The medicine I take is not addictive in any way and it helps keep me in balance, its not the only thing and it's a low dosage but it helps.

Sorry brother.
I don't know what you need. Personally I'd say seek mental health if getting your physical together doesn't cure your anxiety and depression but you know your body :yeshrug:

Just be careful with mental health professionals creating more issues by getting you hooked on pills.

physical together isn't a cure but it helps manage

these are things people learn to cope with because there aren't necessarily cures. people have recurring depression or cyclical and anxiety disorders are not temporary either.

There's never anything wrong with talking to a therapist. A lot of people need therapy but don't even realize, especially with the current world we live in. I would say that unless you are on the verge of doing something drastic, don't let them just put you on medication right off the bat. It seems like too many try to go the pill route for everything.

I'm basically saying get your testosterone and blood flow up. Sometimes its the body effecting the mind. Your body flipping the fukk out with anxiety over the most simple tasks can be a sign of poor habits catching up with age.

Yapping with a shrink whos talking about all your problems and not once saying you know what maybe ur big ass needs to be excercising to facilitate this treatment plan, is an issue.

and I'm saying you have no idea wtf mental illness is or an anxiety disorder by the time people like OP are seeking help it is because they tired of living with it.

you don't have control over it. exercising helps thats it. Not a cure and the causes are not because you did some shyt to yourself. I visit group homes often. Seen kids who didn't have poor habits dealing with depression and anxiety disorders

stop framing mental illness as something people have any control over that is not true and it has contributed to shaming people preventing them from getting professional help because an illness is being categorized as a weakness.

Worth it. See both. PsyD will diagnose you and give you meds if needed, counselor/therapist will help you take it through probably weekly.

After you get settled in, ask about microdosing mushrooms.
