@UpAndComing @KillaFnCam I don't think that will help because very often I will find the faulty logic in my emotional response or recognize that it seems excessive but it just follows me around like a dark clouds nonetheless

@Geek Nasty Yeah to be completely honest I don't do much to have fun anymore. I cut out a lot of stuff and most of the things I do like reading, working out, watching documentaries, etc I do to try and improve myself. I do write, paint, and play the piano a bit but even that started to feel like a chore because I felt like I was using it as a release instead of just enjoying it


I would volunteer at Americorps or something similar where you can help build houses for the homeless and needy. That way you can see the amount of work it takes to do a task and be grateful for what you have

I'm able to go about my day and everything but its beyond obnoxious how it seems like I will dwell on shyt and start connecting dots to compound the issue, but more annoying then that, is it seems like I always need someone else to pull me out of the rutt. I HATE HAVING TO DEPEND ON SOMEONE ELSE IN THAT MANNER.

I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to interact with people anymore. Any tips? :francis:

No what I'm saying is sometimes I will get mad, realize what I got mad about isn't that big a deal, but it takes someone else to make me laugh, change my perspective, change the subject etc because otherwise I seem to keep dwelling on it.

It’s ok, OP. Thinking logically is always optimal, so in argument, if you find yourself becoming too emotional, just catch it and calm yourself down. I’ve had to catch myself, calm down, and apologize for getting out of control

You can get rid of your emotions with antipsychotic drugs. But, you don’t realize you want emotions until they are gone. Feeling blah, normal all the time has it’s benefits, but also negatives. Not feeling happiness or sadness is not normal to the human experience. You might think you don’t want emotions, but I’m not sure you really want that. I have personal experience with antipsychotics.

i'm just saying. if having other people bring you out of a mood is what it takes, i don't see nothing wrong with that. we live in societies.... groups that depend on each other for various things. so to you it's a negative but it sounds normal. marriage would just be a way to make it more accesible i guess... like a live in solution lol. i would go on match.com, i know people be getting wed from that one.

Meditate on it with breathing exercises. Tell yourself to calm down it’s an overreaction.
