A homegirl gave us a nice barely used treadmill.
My girl and I decided to use it like 5 days a week.

So in two weeks, I'm up to a 13-minute mile.:gladbron:
My girl used the treadmill once......on the 1 pace........and told me that she got dizzy.:what:

She's basically given up. :beli:

I try to motivate her but she get's frustrated very easily.

What can I do, fellers?

Party season is fast approaching and my ideal scenario is for the both of us to walk into the place looking awesome.

But since she don't wanna do shyt, we're gonna be walking into the spot lookin' like the number 10.

But she is right though, treadmill takes a while to get used to. Until then, you could go with her on long walks, it's "romantic" but you also get toned. :manny:

It's already too late bro unless you're almost there or have freakishly good genetics. Just start getting ready for next summer.

Also, don't limit your workouts to the gym. Invest in a few free weights, a kettle bell, and a pull up bar at home. Home workouts save time and are a good supplement when you don't have time to make it to the gym. Also, get your diet where it needs to be. Like the saying goes, abs are made in the kitchen.

She sounds comfortable, why should she lose weight when she feels she has no reason to and she has you. Different people are motivated by different things.

Congrats on getting motivated yourself- keep at it- that mile time will just go down. As for her.... you really can't make someone work out that doesn't have the motivation. There will always be a million excuses for why they can't push harder.
