The second best Phase 1 movie behind Iron Man. Everything about it is solid from beginning to end.

Awful is a bit much but it definitely falls apart in the second hour. The build-up to Steve becoming Cap is the best storytelling Marvel has done in any of their movies, and then they just turn the whole thing into a sloppy montage of action scenes.

they fast-forward through the entire fukking war. Yeah, that's not the story they wanted to tell. But it's the most interesting story to tell. But they needed to get on with Avengers so unfortunately we will never get a story that revolves around Cap in the war which are some of his most interesting..

Movie was absolute trash. By far the worst of the Avengers related films.

That 2nd Thor movie is abysmal. I tried multiple times to rewatch it and couldn’t make it more than 45 minutes

Not bad just super cheesy and the fight scenes were mid. Also, I know it’s a movie, and a superhero movie at that…but some of the scenes were just very unbelievable. Like him just waltzing into a Nazi stronghold and sneaking by 100s of people. Like damn they are smart enough to develop vaporizing guns but not smart enough to have better security?

Anyway, not a bad film. Just OK.

On to Captain Marvel now…

Thor 2 was terrible. I didn't like any of them honestly except the 1st
