Big T vs o red on paper is suppose to be a classic. wtf is this sh!t? big T making filler sound effects to finish his round, math snuffin nikkas for going "whoooo", hitman not comin wit 3 verses and giggling through his last round, smack havin these nikkas stand for hours so the only outcome is a frustrated crowd. I cant really blame them for being edgy. you spend $100 and stand for 12 hours to hear Big T go "boom boom" ??

I look fwd to PGs, QOTR and KOTD more then these top teir URL battles now.

They won't meet their demise, but they definitely will lose that #1 spot soon. Tbh as of right now until I see a classic or good complete battle from url I'd go with KOTD.

At this point it's just becoming the in thing to bash URL

I find myself defending them more because they get an unfair rap while the other leagues get a ton of passes. I mean the kotd world domination event was full of horrible sound quality but it easily gets overlooked because thier are many who just want to see the rise of kotd and the fall of smack. Them smack gets killed for its sound quality

Thing is with smack they have a excellent staff that will continue to build up. Plus plenty of new stars who will rise and take the top spots. All the other leagues just getting they names up by booking guys smack made famous.

So until these league build they own stars like smack do and drop money like smack do they can't take smack down.

I'm saying though if you fukk with the PGs it's only a matter of time til they graduate to the big stage, so URL will be fine. One thing that doesn't change about Hip-Hop, punchline/wordplay rappers have expiration dates...the old top tier is slowly falling off that's all...it's an awkward period, but long as Smack starts bringing the youngins along the tide will change and you'll see great battles again.

That's like having a team full of bluechip rookies in Football and still saying their future is bleak. Business wise yeah they have a lot of improving to do, but we're only bytching about stuff like that because the battles haven't been where they're supposed to be. RNT is funny when we're waiting on great battles, annoying when we've been consistently disappointed.

grindtime had too many divisions and different bosses that ended up not getting along. url will be around they just need to sprinkle in more matches between established hungry guys that don't duck and the new guys. Also have one or two big events a year, and have the rest infront of moderate sized crowds and they will be good.
