So Giannis just ended his 12th NBA season. This is not some young guy anymore who you can excuse the results on the board...
"Man if he learns how to shoot";
"If he learns how to beat the wall";
"If he can stay healthy";
"If he had reliable teammates";
All this and more have been uttered about Giannis over the last half-decade. I won't go so far as to call him a finished product, but he mostly is what he is at this point, he's at least 90-95% of what he's capable of...
And we know what he's capable of, because the results on the board give us the verification of what he is and what he isn't. I've been telling yall for 4 years that the anomaly in his career was the '21 title run---->it's the one season in his career that aint like the others. From tge moment it happened, I said I wanted to see more, I needed to see him do it again, because the evidence even to that point showed that, that season, isn't the truest example of what he could be as a player...
I got called a hater, yet 4 years later, looks like I was right. Here's what Giannis has done in his career, within his prime:
2017 (Y4, age 22)
•80 games played, Bucks 42-40
•L Rd1
2018 (Y5, age 23)
•75 games played, Bucks 44-38
•L Rd1
2019 (Y6, age 24)
•72 games played, Bucks 60-22
•L ECF (0-1), choked vs Toronto in
ECF
2020 (Y7, age 25)
•played in equivalent of ~71 games, Bucks record was equivalent to a ~63-win season
•L Rd2, choked in series
2021 (Y8, age 26)
•played in equivalent of ~69 games, Bucks record was equivalent to ~52 wins
•W NBA Finals
2022 (Y9, age 27)
•played in 67 games, Bucks 51-31
•L Rd2
2023 (Y10, age 28)
•played in 63 games, Bucks 58-24
•L Rd1, choked vs Heat again
2024 (Y11, age 29)
•played in 73 games, Bucks 49-33
•unavailable in playoffs
2025 (Y12, age 30)
•played in 67 games, Bucks 48-34
•L Rd1
12 years in, Giannis has been to one Finals and two ECF, compared to 4x Rd1 losses, 2x Rd2 losses, and hasn't been out of Rd1 since 2022 now. So 3 years and counting. In his prime, Bucks have 2x 60-win seasons, 3x 50-win seasons, and win an average of 51.9 wins/year...
Giannis in his prime has played an average of 70.8 games/year...
This isn't remotely close to mirroring LeBron's career at the same age:
2005 (Y2, age 20)
•80 games played, Cavs 42-40
•no playoffs
2006 (Y3, age 21)
•79 games played, Cavs 50-32
•L Rd2
2007 (Y4, age 22)
•78 games played, Cavs 50-32
•L NBA Finals
2008 (Y5, age 23)
•75 games played, Cavs 45-37
•L Rd2
2009 (Y6, age 24)
•81 games played, Cavs 66-16
•L ECF
2010 (Y7, age 25)
•76 games played, Cavs 61-21
•L Rd2
2011 (Y8, age 26)
•79 games played, Heat 58-24
•L NBA Finals, choked vs Dallas
2012 (Y9, age 27)
•equivalent of ~77 games played, Heat equivalent of ~57 wins
•W NBA Finals
2013 (Y10, age 28)
•76 games played, Heat 66-16
•W NBA Finals
2014 (Y11, age 29)
•77 games played, Heat 54-28
•L NBA Finals
2015 (Y12, age 30)
•69 games played, Cavs 53-29
•L NBA Finals
Starting with the fact that LeBron entered his prime two years earlier (basing "prime" on first year they were Top 10 MVP finalists);
At 12 years in, LeBron had been to 6 Finals (vs 1 for Giannis); had 2 championships (vs 1 for Giannis); 7 ECF (vs 2 for Giannis); never lost a Rd1 series until Y18; 3 Rd2 losses (vs 2 for Giannis)...
Bron's teams were 3x 60-wins (vs 2 for Giannis); 6x 50-wins (vs 3x for Giannis); and Bron's teams won an average of 54.7 wins/year (vs 51.9 for Giannis)...
Bron played in an average of 77 games/year (vs 70.8 for Giannis)...
This aint even close to being similar careers and impacts. It doesnt matter that LeBron is losing in Rd1 series as an old man on the Lakers. In his youth, when he was Giannis' and Jokic's and Tatum's age, he was never losing in Rd1 and was getting clowned for losing......in The Finals, with inferior teams
All the shyt nikkas clown LeBron for has been Giannis' actual career, and these other present era stars. None if these guys are seeing a prime LeBron (Jokic just won a playoff game scoring 13 points

this never could happen when Bron was the same age)...
