I rode the DC Metro everyday for a year. Rush hour traffic to the Metro stop, find a parking spot, and then ride a crowded ass train. Rinse and repeat 8 hours later.

90% of them are new and hi tech clean trains
trains are cleaned at the end of every 1 way trip

NYC metro is 2.75 flat with free 2 hour limited bus transfer
As far as degenerates go NYC Subway is used by lawyers, doctors, engineers and even actors who make millions a year. Even the Cavs team found the subway more reliable than using a car

Me personally I love using the subway. Driving is overrated. My car literally stays parked in the street 5 days out the week and I only use it on weekends. Honestly I should sell it to get rid of insurance fees and just use Zipcar which is very cheap!

You were better of living by the metro. I’m a very impatient person and sitting in traffic is a no no.
People complain about subway delays which are often 2 - 10 minutes max while a traffic delay could be a whole damn hour.
