Uber is a recent invention. Just me speaking for myself, I don't like the idea of being dependent upon other people to move around. It's a REALLY uncomfortable feeling. Over time I've had horror stories about that shyt. One time I ended up 5 hours late to a job interview because the bus drivers wanted to be dikks and not pick people up on the bus. Then the one that did decided to go the long way. I always hear people complaining about the bus, the train and etc.

Sorry don't know about you but I couldn't see myself being in crowded ass NYC my whole life. fukk that shyt especially now with all those suburbanites or gentrifiers thinking that struggle life shyt is cool. So they doing everything to go in reverse but having the option to go back to their burbs when they feel like it. Sorry but no. You can enjoy that shyt if that's what you like.

Again, you don’t live in nyc. Stop talking about and complaining about a city you know very little about. Stop guessing, you sound like an idiot tbh. Most people that live here(like me) love living here and don’t want to live anywhere else.

Again you don’t live in nyc so please stfu.

I’m 28 and I remember the r40 slants only because the bright express orange Q and diamond yellow Q and B used them by my house.

Remember when the Q got the r32 after 9/11.

That was a good experience.

I always liked the slants. They were unique. Used to catch them sometimes when the B would extend in the Bx during rush hour.

Those R32s, when they on certain lines on express stretches, fast a fukk :whew:

You sound mad as fukk, breh. Nobody envies you so cut it out. I don't even know why you keep coming out of your face when I have the right to a fukking opinion. I don't even know what you're getting at with this defensiveness but stop while you're ahead, youngin.

Trust me when I say this. NYC aint the world, breh. Don't be one of those people looking crazy as hell when you have to go to jersey or Connecticut or long island thinking that shyt is Brooklyn with the transit running 24/7 and going everywhere. I speak on it because I actually know people who rely on the subway at 30, 40 something years old that never even got a license. They exist.

Live in Jersey about 30 minutes from the City and would never take a job there unless I was getting paid half a million and I would just uber everywhere

Word r40/r32 and even the old red birds were fast as fukk but sometimes the R32 would show its age by shaking craxy while riding like it’s going to explode.

I hated NYC but the train wasn't that bad. Was actually clean and only got crowded when I was around Manhattan I believe. Only weirdos on there were the nikkas doing gymnastics choreagraphy on the poles and the random dude begging for money cause "his house burned down" every now and then.

I wish my city had a train system or even a decent bus system.

I actually thought you were a New Yorker or a Jersey dude who commutes to New York often.

You are from Jersey right?

I’ve never heard this before from a Jersey person. I assume most Jersey heads like working in Manhattan because that’s where they will probably end up working if they get a career!

An us NY people don’t envy you. :heh:

And you sound dumb as fukk. You do not live here, so stop with your outside looking in ass comments. You don’t know what’s going on in nyc yet you have a bunch of comments and opinions. That’s ignorant as fukk. No you do not have a right to an opinion on a city you don’t live in or probably never been to wtf. :mindblown:

I love taking the train. Sit at one of those two seats at the end, put my headphones in and chill. :manny:

I won't say where I'm at for certain reasons concerning my privacy and I believe there's people watching me in this joint that probably know me for real so I'll just say I'm in around, at, or in the nyc area.

You got mad because I said the truth. I don't even get why you're mad. The same millions of people you're talking about pretty much are limited because they have to rely upon that shyt. :laff: you sound mad that you don't have a car and the subway is your ride. How the fukk would you even know if I lived in nyc or not because I said that it's never a good idea to rely on another person to get you around. I'm speaking from actual experience, idiot. Truth hurts. I'm damn sure wasn't dissing you so get out of your feelings

doing the rush hour commute in any major city for a 9-5 (or more realistically a 9-6) five full days a week, is depressing no matter how you're getting there. Unless you're walking to work or you can strap on a jet pack and fly, it's a demoralizing experience. 1 hour door-to-door is considered a reasonable commute time in NYC and that's assuming things are running well and there are no delays. It can easily turn into 90 minutes one way and you're looking at 15 hours unpaid time going back and forth to work a week

It's likely why NY hip-hop is so grimey and lacks the fun of California. Imagine how pissed off you'd be riding that nasty ass subway everyday, no wonder those motherfukkers favour some Jeru the Damaja type of music :dead:
