Breh you can say that about any star from age era prior to the 3 point takeover as all teams had much worse spacing before everyone was capable of shooting 3's. Imagine prime Duncan on that 2013-2014 Spurs team.

Imagine what Magic could have done when surrounded by a bunch of shooters. Actually it's probably similar to what Lebron is doing offensively except with less scoring and more assists.

One thing that I think is dumb is that no one really takes into account that players from previous eras would have played differently in this era. They wouldn't just be the same quality of player as the game has changed, practices have changed, technology has changed, and development has changed significantly. You can show me what Bird averaged in the 80's for 3 point shooting and tell me he wouldn't be shyt in today's league, but if he was brought up in today's league I think it's fair to assume his 3 point game would have been far more fine tuned. A lot of post players from the past would have also probably developed 3's, like many bigs in today's league did. If Pau/David Lee/Ibaka can develop 3 point shots I think it's fair to say that others from the past could as well with the proper technique, development, and practice.

His lack of 3 point shot worries me about how well he could perform. Not too mention the complex defensive schemes.

If jordan played the same way now as he did in the 90s, he would be an all star. But, he would not dominate like in the 90s. The complex zone defenses would force him to shoot more than attack the basket. In addition, His 3ball is not developed, and the gap in athleticism would not be as pronounced. There would be no Dan Majrles or Jeff Hornaceks to exploit.

he wouldnt be a 6 time champion in this new era, for the simple fact that players today are forming supearteams while back in the day one player would try to lead his team to a champiobship, two all star guys at most.
