Has nerlens rejected their offer ?
I figure they are expecting him to leave
If he takes the QO and plays for them another year, then he'll be an UFA next year.

No other team appears willing to offer him a big enough contract that the Mavs won't match it.

He really doesn't have many options.

The Mavs are like 30M under the cap right now, an expiring, especially connected to a trash player does nothing for them.

Currently TT is a superior player to Nerlens and far more durable, they get him for 1 mil less than they wanted Nerlens for 3 years.
they get Shump who gives them depth at the 2 IMHO.
That said I'm not saying its a lock, but I think it benefits both teams.

Makes sense. He's not a complete scrub. Playing behind jr, rose, and possibly wade.
:childplease:
Edit: Actually i take that back. He's no total scrub but really aint shyt either.

Y'all remeber when Knicks fans were hyping him up as the next D-Wade and then a D-Wade-stopper? Just because that chump had a couple of good defensive games vs Wade :skip:

Why is Iman such a shyt basketball player?

He showed some flashes earlier in his career but I'm convinced he just doesn't practice/workout enough

He doesn't seem to have the drive to want to be better. Just in the NBA because it's a job and it shows in his play

Bum ass nikka, he might not even have a job once his contract is up

I think Nerlens is better, more athletic, better defender and gives them the interior defense the Cavs are lacking.

Shump is trash.
