fukking sucks.

His hype is completley manufactured. nikka is jus a faux paut attempt of appealing to the "Real 90s" Hip Hop niche of the market. Lil kid is 17 but he knows all about the 90s huh :comeon: , I bet he prolly dont even know the first song off The Lords of the Underground debut CD.

I was holding my tounge cuz son is from NY, but when I sat and watched his videos, all I can see was a marketing strategy of "Bringin Real Hip Hop Back!!"

Corny as fukk. Tha rap game is about being yourself and doing you, in the 90s that 90s shyt was acceptable cuz, well it was the 90s :yeshrug: . We in 2012 now nikka. If I wanna hear some 90s rap, I'll just put in my It Was Wrtten CD.

Be yourself man .You gotta come harder than that youngin, you gotta come harder than that :comeon:

i wouldnt say he sucks, but his "bring boom bap hip hop" gimmick is not going to work for him well.

or... maybe he's just a young dude who is fond of 90's rap music and thus those influences have rubbed off on him :ohhh:

coli logic: "Adele and Amy Winehouse are manufactured industry puppets dogg... fukk you mean they like classic soul and jazz music? this ain't the 60's breh, get that shyt outta here, I'll listen to Billie Holiday if I wanna hear that"

According to the coli 17 year old kids manufacture their style now, at that a non successful style ?

You must not know who Johnny Shipes is do you :comeon:

He a jewish A&R who is in new york. nikka was behind numerous artists over the past decade. From Nipsey, to Smoke Dza, to Big Krit. His whole stitch is "real hip hop artist"

Yeah, I downloaded that mixtape. Listened to it once and never revisited.

If I wanna hear that 90's style rap, I'll just listen to some 90s rap.

He can spit if you like that cypher type rap, but I doubt he can make a song that will catch on with the mainstream

It was so overrated to me.

I get why he exists and I really like that he does. Kids his age need to recognize the greatness of the early 90s and what better way than to have someone like them pay homage.

That said, I liked his flow and the beats but I cant enjoy listening to a 17 year old I guess

He's an industry plant though, the industry will look out for him like it did with kendrick lamar.
