I wish it was simu-released on PC. Been playing Remake for the past couple of days and I'm dying to play Rebirth, but my 4090 has spoiled me for games. PS5 hits different once you experience games in 4k with full ray tracing, running 100+fps. But I might have to just cop that PS5 version and later 'acquire' the PC release

I'm 95% done with Ch 2. I'm really liking this game. Queen's Blood can gtfo. Fort Condor in the Yuffie DLC was a fun mini-game to play.

I have to agree, like you said nostalgia will blind a lot of people. This should set a new standard for JRPG games going forward. It’s just absolutely incredible and beautiful. I liked part 1 but this one is something special.


Hopefully they come with more remakes of previous FF titles, would love to see what they can do with FF9.

It's great but it's too early to call it that.

Plus, just from a gameplay style standpoint there's going to be people who prefer turnbased, like persona 5/yakuza.

As an action JRPG though, it's probably the best out.

It definitely has the potential to be the goat trilogy as i thoroughly enjoyed this game and remake. If they nail the third one. I would say its the goat jrpg trilogy.
