i'd give it a listening too. The first dude is legit. The second lady does more of a book review than anything else but in terms of better understanding the argument and the situation it's a good lecture to listen to.
TLDR version of the audio is that ultimately the data used is pretty watered down from a 40x40 matrix into an extremely estimated digestible set of information and even that information has ups and downs and per the dude it's easy to argue for and against immigration and that it ultimately boils down to a philosophical debate and less of an economic one...which, coming from the cato institute, was actually pretty shocking.
I'm almost have tempted to sticky this thread so more people actually listen to this and stop with the economic debate at this point. TWISM and I have gone round and round on this particular topic...it was sorta refreshing to hear we were both wrong...and both right.
