That's what happens when you get someone no one knows about to produce half your album. Like, you would think Rae seeing how Nas blew up when he got with the trackmasters that he'd go the same route and get proven known producers on his sophomore album. shyt, the sophomore album is more crucial than the debut.

After knowing what we know about Rae is that he's cheap when it comes to production.

You know what's funny? A lot of the Immobilarity producers were on the Wu-Syndicate album which still holds up very well to this day.

Rae just couldn't pick beats without RZA and Ghost in his corner for the longest.

RZA especially because Rae brought Ghost back for Lex Diamonds Story which is lowkey a worse album than this

Love Meccapolis but agree with this general thread sentiment. Album sucks. Rae was at his peak lyrically and you can see it on here at times. Despite that, Album still sucks.

"A lot"?

DJ Devastator, who produced the majority of the Wu Syndicate album, produced 1 song, Real Life, on Immobilarity. That's the only production link between the two albums.

You're right.

I thought they shared more than one producer but this explains why the Syndicate album sounds better :russ:

Broke my heart hearing this shyt

This here.

"Sneakers" is the only track on this that I can listen to. Pete Rock should've done way more on this. Back when it dropped, I found myself almost forcing myself to listen to it, hoping it would grow on me. Never did. Rae beefing with RZA was the dumbest sh*t ever. Dude went and let his actual A&R's produce his album and kill that Wu run.

Yeah, the majority of the Immobilarity production was Inf Arc (Mike "Trauma" D & Jugrnaut) who were Loud A&Rs & in house production at that time (and had some of the better beats), Tryflin who's Rae's guy in ACT (meh) and Vo & Pop (awful). Stray single tracks were by Carlos Brody, DJ Devastator & Pete Rock.
