If Iggy is coming to "steal" Nicki's spot it's just a natural progression and has nothing to do with race. Nicki took Kim's spot. Kim took Foxy's spot. Etc. That's how female rap works: for whatever reason there is always only room for one big female rapper, with Lauryn Hill being the one wild card. Chalk that up as a problem with the music industry, as execs have long known that two female rappers beefing has more publicity potential than the average male rapper beef. And also chalk it up to the crabs in the barrel mentality of a lot of female artists who fought to become famous and are very sensitive of anyone who has "next" ("she's stealing my look, she's stealing my song ideas, etc").
I still think Iggy is just a placeholder. She's awkward as fukk, isn't talented, and seems to have a rather bland personality compared to the natural confidence of Nicki, Kim, Foxy, etc.
