It's one of the few songs that didn't age at all

And it came out during a time in which rock was still the most popular adult contemporary choice of music.

Song seen through all of the bullshyt that Limp Bizkit and Korn was putting out.

I thought Ecstatic was a great album. Im more like an 8/10. I do think had he followed up BOBS with this, it would have been better received. Ill never understand the recording process when was making True Magic & The New Danger. Those had potential but felt too all over the place.

I’ve said before that this was the last classic hip hop album of 90s hip hop and in someways embraces them all. And Supreme Clientele was the first classic of the next wave. Crazy they were released months apart.

I don't know why I bought this on tape because I was playing CDs back then but I used to walk around with the tape in my breast pocket. Like it was a part of my daily get up as a kid.

I think BOBS is incredible but "The New Danger" does not get the love it deserves.
So many fly ass tracks on that record man.

And Mos and his producers were really in love with Marvin Gaye around that time.
