IMO the PS4 graphics are lame--

PS4 is a nice piece of hardware but it's no where close to a high end PC...I'd go as far as to say it's a high end gaming PC from 2010 maybe, but not now. A high end PC is pushing 60fps on 4k resolutions right now..heck i game at 1080p native on BF4 with 150% resolution scaling (basically 4k at 1080p) and don't dip below 70 fps and if i turn that off i'm doing 120+ fps. PS4 is doing 900p unscaled to 1080p and barely keeping 60 on it's most graphically intensive game (BF4)

Compared to last gen, its pretty close... And not all high end and pushing those number, maybe top tier.

But you've obviously missed my point so I wont further the argument.

"high end PC's" are pushing 1440p. "enthusiasts" are pushing even higher resolutions

the PS4 competes with "mid-range PC's" IMO

Ya'll do realize that graphics can only be as good as the hardware used to make them right?

And the latest PS3 games were made with basically the same tools as the current PS4 games.

A high end PC and a PS4 are sitting pretty close right now. Games on a PS4 won't look much different on a high end PC currently. Of course the PS4 will fall even more behind with time but right now its close.

So with that being said your "graphics" wont get any better until better tools come out for them to make games with.

It sounds like your more unsatisfied with the leap in technology rather than the PS4 itself.

uh, most gpu's have gddr5 too. if gddr5 was superior for all applications, "enthusiasts" would use it for their system ram. but they don't...

Totally disagree. The graphics are better and give a better gameplay experience. Call of duties stages look beautiful, but the character models look like complete trash.
