That's the combination in like 90% of cases: talented people who are absolutely scum of the Earth. If you've ever researched celebrated people in their field, shiit a lot of the ones in the history books for their accomplishments were unmitigated scumbags as people or end up doing horrible things.

In wrestling, Terry, Vince, Moolah, Benoit, and Vince come to mind off rip. Every single one has defenders too. That's what makes the genuinely good people who are just as talented stand out so much because most of them are scum.
