like what the fukk were they thinking of letting him play so early, we talkin about 6'10 player that runs a lot on the court having a foot injury, the portland trail blazers medical staff is probably laughing right now....
They were thinking that if KD doesn't get out on the court soon, we'll lose touch with the playoff race and end up missing out altogether.

:mjlol: at shutting westbrook down, like that wouldn't anger him. They can't afford to have russ thinking about leaving too. :sas1:.

and 4-6 months is september, season opens on halloween night
They can't afford for him to get injured on a freak accident in a season that'll amount to nothing either. Better to take the chance of shutting him down and him 'leaving' (how you came to this conclusion I don't know), than have him end up like Rose and not have him at all.

It made no fukking sense from the beginning...I remember asking why the fukk he was back so soon....foot injuries dont just magically heal in 2 months...OKC medical staff is made up of a bunch of clowns.
It makes complete sense.

They had one of the worst records in the league, so they obviously felt that it was necessary for him to get back on the court ASAP to salvage their season. He wanted to come back, he needed to come back. What are they to do if he's on track to return, no setbacks, he's moving freely and he himself says he's ready (he ended up playing for a whole month when he came back)? Do they say no? Do they say you can't for a couple more months - we want to monitor your progress further? Do they risk throwing their whole season away and risk losing him in FA because they didn't trust his judgement or the fact he doesn't want to stay in OKC and waste another season of his career to injury-related circumstances?

It was a 'damned if they do and damned if they don't' situation.

Unfortunate for basketball. Just robbed us of a potentially great 1st round playoffs.

However, I hope you OKC brehs ain't superstitious. First that based God curse and now the Emerald City curse are looking real right now. Really real. :shaq:
