would be the greatest heel turn of all timegood 4 year run. did what he came to the Heat to do. but im sure 2011 will always be looked upon as the way that got away. 2014 was just not our year. the Spurs were just lights out.

3. My dad brother hated the heat so much they were rooting for Boston. Knicks fans rooting for the team that swept them a week earlier. That win was so sweet
.4. My 2 favorite non finals Heat games. Watched game 2 at the ale house in hunters creek. Place was jammed. When Haslem took over the place was so loud I couldn't even hear myself think. Game 5 was pure heaven. Ate bacon wrapped steaks at my aunt's house in massapequa with a glass of captain Morgan going back and forth with my classmates that semester. Still my favorite rally ever and lead to my favorite Le Batard rant.

Man, it all ended too soon. They really are a classic case of even the haters didn't know what they had until it's gone. Most exciting years I've ever followed any sports league. Stupid ass league and media fukked it up. Them dudes never should have been sold as villains. That shyt don't work in the NBA (especially a league that is 80% black and damn near 100% black stars). If you sold them as heros or just all around good guys they could have still played off of that when Lebron left. Even this year as the heat and Cavs are on a collision course to meet in the ECFs potentially.
But nope got to sell black athletes as villains.
80s Hurricanes and fab 5 are neck and neck with them in terms of polarizing or scaring the fukk out of America.
