bro if you watch the 1990 royal rumble you get dibiase, jake the snake, savage, piper, bret hart, and andre the giant all in the same ring and the rumble wasn't even halfway done yet.

hogan, warrior, perfect, rude had YET to come out.

that's how stacked their roster was back then.

Yeah the match was at WrestleMania V against the Brain Busters.

To answer the question, it's hard as fukk to find five better heels than that but Crockett did have Flair, Tully and the Andersons all in the Horsemen and they all had their own ongoing feuds. :wow:

Also, 1994 WCW had everyone in the Dangerous Alliance (Rude, Arn, Eaton, Steve Austin, Larry Z) and fukking Vader. :wow:

1. Macho Man Randy Savage
2. Andre The Giant
3. Ravishing Rick Rude
4. The Million Dollar Man
5. Mr. Perfect/Bad News Brown

:wow:

any company topping that for heels at one time?

I hate that they were still in the mindset that you had to turn face or settle for the IC belt back then. Imagine a heel title reign by Savage, Rude or Dibiase.

I guess they could have done the Macho Man heel turn earlier, but he did have a short Heel run as champ. he fought Ultimate Warrior and I think maybe Beefcake on the house shows as a heel champ before Mania.

but yeah, i could have seen any of them getting a run as heel champ. but the WWF ALWAYS ran a babyface champion. from Bruno for like 8 years str8...then short run for heel, then another babyface, then short heel, then Bruno again for 4 years, then Billy Graham for like 10 months(which is the longest heel run they had before Flair in 1992)

that was just the WWF way. complete opposite of NWA/WCW where they always had a heel as champion, with the babyface chasing

True. I'm just thinking that by 1989, they'd been running with that formula for 26 years. It took them 8 more years to give Bret and Shawn heel reigns.

I mean, Hogan as champ ushered in their biggest money making boom at the time. also, Bruno was a huge draw in NY...so basically, if it ain't broke....was probably Vince's mindset.

It still is, and always will be. John Cena didn't become champ until 20 years after Bruno RETIRED (and 40 years since Bruno won the title) and ended up making the most money for the company of anyone in history. Why would you change that formula?

Yall gonna try and roast me but

Hogan
Hall
Nash
Savage
Jericho / eddie

98 WCW is pretty fukkin close.

of everyone on the combined lists, prime hollywood hogan probably had the most heat..only 89 savage compares and he is legit my GOAT wrestler. They both have savage, and 97 psycho savage stalking and beating the crap out of DDP AND HOGAN in early 98 was MONEY. Jericho was coming of age as the whiney little b*stard hed get famous as and had all the classic moments (1004 holds, wearing eddies mask, Ralphus, etc) and Eddy had the goat :birdman: stare and came back to wcw JACKED. The outsiders...i dont even need to talk to about them you already know.

I'd put this list up there with the list in OP
