It still is, and always will be. John Cena didn't become champ until 20 years after Bruno RETIRED (and 40 years since Bruno won the title) and ended up making the most money for the company of anyone in history. Why would you change that formula?

Vince has clearly tried to replicate rock in a few forms, and bruno, but he hasnt tried to replicate austin who did EASILY their GOAT business outside of Hogan (and better depending on the matrices used)...is there a reason IYO as to why?

Nowadays? I could kick the shyt out of Zayn, Balor, Ziggler, Enzo, Ambrose, hell even Rollins and Reigns. Not saying I'm a tough guy, but I'd fancy my chances to beat most guys on the roster. Whereas I wouldn't dare mess with Benoit or Eddie, even if they were short. They came across as bad ass.

Not saying I'm tough, I'm a regular sized guy who trained MMA for 6 months a few years ago, but guys like Ziggler don't come across as tough in real life at all and I'd fancy my chances against guys like him, Balor etc etc
