In 1998, Kevin Nash was the second biggest face in the wrestling business

if you fukking think that:

nash vs sting
nash vs ddp
nash vs hogan
nash vs savage

would have drew more than:

goldberg vs sting
goldberg vs ddp
goldberg vs hogan
goldberg vs savage

... then what can i say you really are wolfpack 4 life.
We saw all those matches and they pretty much all did the same business aside from Hogan/Goldberg, so i have no idea what you're talking about.

Wolfpac were faces, Hogan joining turned them heel because nobody liked his stale ass at that time.

Stop saying "them", the crowd chose Nash over everyone but Sting. Hogan was just standing in his spotlight.

DDP was forced to turn heel because everyone wanted to be a cool face

Breh, the Wolfpac turned heel the night of the Finger Poke of Doom. The whole group were heels after that. Sting wasn't even around when it happened. He was still out from Halloween Havoc and didn't come back until the week before Spring Stampede.

kevin nash had the biggest match he was ever going to have with goldberg.

but i refuse to believe that goldberg's ceiling was KEVIN NASH
What does this even mean? :what:

Goldberg's biggest match was obviously Hogan :what:

if Goldberg went into 1999 undefeated, they could have still drawn with him because every match with a main event level guy would have been a huge deal. there were still plenty of stars left, BIGGER THAN NASH, for him to co headline with.

but Nash against those same guys?:russell:

So because he lost ONE match it killed his ability to draw?

Goldberg had already faced Hogan, Hall, Sting, DDP, Giant, Hennig, etc.

Who else was left for him to co-headline with?

the point I'm making is that Goldberg could draw with or without kevin Nash.

Well they were the two biggest draws in the company at the time so i would hope so.

The whole point of Goldberg losing and the NWO joining back together was to give Goldberg something to do again since fans were bored with him no longer having anything to fight for. You can't just have a dude go undefeated forever, and he had literally beaten even even semi top guy on the roster besides Nash. Macho was out hurt and Bret was injured. So you have him beat Nash. Then what? He's beaten the whole fukking roster twice over at that point. He had to lose that match.

This proves how stupid it was when he turned after Starrcade and got back with Hogan.

Going into 99 Hogan was cold as ice out there and nobody cared about him. Few weeks after that Nash was chilly as well

Yup. Nash was going strong as a face, and instead of continuing on as face, he ruined his own momentum by turning heel to reform with Hogan (possibly got politicked into doing it, nash has been on record saying he was head booker for ending goldbergs streak and the fingerpoke of doom).

It's basically WCW in a nutshell, sparks of greatness, but bullshyt ultimately prevails and sinks the ship.

Nash has good matches. He had a good match with Jeff fukking Jarrett in TNA.
I dont disagree but this is hilarious since you claimed that most of HBK's matches from 96-98 were bad :dead:
